FORGING NEW IDENTITIES
Clues For The Next Two Years
SATURN
moved into LEO July 16th and set a new tone for the next two
and a half years. Most of us leave behind many of the emotional
fears and insecurities of the previous two and half years
when SATURN was in CANCER.
It’s
time for each of us to re-create a critical part of our own
identities, to redefine and re-structure an important part
of our lives. Wherever the sign of LEO is placed any given
chart is where the serious work needs to be done. SATURN is
the taskmaster planet, the planet that demands hard work and
the appropriate use of discipline and authority.
For George
Bush (view chart),
SATURN has left his secretive twelfth house and now moves
towards his ASCENDANT and His FIRST HOUSE. This offers him
the opportunity to modify his image and legacy. He may be
trying to re-define his image as others are judging him so
harshly. Whatever the fate of his first Supreme Court nominee,
John Roberts, he has at least made a dignified beginning.
SATURN
in LEO has the reputation for timing the rise and fall of
kings. It’s judgment time. SATURN represents the judge
and LEO the leader. Hillary Rodham Clinton (view
chart) is another political figure for whom this period
is critical. She will be having her second SATURN RETURN,
which means that SATURN will be returning for the second time
to its placement in her birth chart. A SATURN RETURN commonly
marks a time when someone makes a life-defining choice. Will
she or won’t she run for President?
Bill
Clinton (view chart)
will also be having his second SATURN RETURN. With four of
his planets, including his SUN, in LEO, his health may be
a continuing concern and affect Hillary’s decision.
Both the SUN and the sign of LEO are considered to be indicative
of conditions of the heart.
On the
world scene, regime changes and border modifications will
stay at the front of the news. Bush has a close connection
to the chart of the Middle East Mandate * (view
chart). Many other countries such as India and Pakistan
and North Korea came into being when SATURN was in LEO at
the end of World War Two.
